How to Make Cauliflower Rice + Our Favorite Recipes

We’re always looking for ways to add more vegetables into our meals! One of the pillars of our 4 Week HGG Reset Meal Program is to focus on adding in more nutrient-dense foods, not focusing on what needs to be removed. Adding in extra vegetables whenever possible is one of the best ways to do this, and cauliflower rice is the perfect thing to experiment with! It’s packed with vitamins and minerals and takes on the flavor of any dish you are creating.


There are two options for how to do this: first, you can make it really easy and buy the pre-riced cauliflower (Trader Joe’s has a great option). Or, you can make your own! Simply slice up a head of cauliflower (similar to when you’re getting ready to roast it), pop it in your food processor and pulse several times until the texture resembles rice. Then, squeeze out the excess moisture using a kitchen towel and sauté in a pan until cooked through. So easy and it’s the perfect substitute for a variety of grains or starchy vegetables, like pasta, brown rice and potatoes.
