Glow Girl Feature: Emily Winters
It’s time to celebrate another Glow Girl, Emily from St. Paul, MN and the blogger behind Get Well with Em.
Emily’s healthy living journey started when she was in her senior year of college and found herself enjoying a few too many beers and late night treats. She started experimenting with food and trying out new workouts, but soon found herself obsessing over learning and doing everything she could to stay in shape. She worried that if she loosened the reigns, she’d also lose all her progress.
Fast forward almost 3 years later, and she’s finally at a place where she can love her body, enjoy treats, and commit to a healthy lifestyle without going overboard. Like us, she’s not perfect, and still has her down moments, but overall is proud of how far she’s come and how much stronger she is not only physically, but mentally as well.

Best thing she’s read or listened to lately: Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult
Favorite #healthyglowguide recipe: Kale and Butternut Squash Salad with Pomegranate, because the squash makes it hearty while still getting greens in midday! For her, finding a meal plan and workout guide with so much flexiblity and variety is such a relief.
Emily’s favorite part about the #HGCcommunity is the positivity, support and “you do you” mindset. She signed up because of the commitment to being real and living a truly balanced life!
Her best advice?
There are a million different ways to live a healthy lifestyle. Follow your instincts, eat good food, and move your body…the rest will fall into place.
